Pain management session four.

Stress (Flare up week)

I was unable to attend last week’s session as I was mid flare up. The session  was about managing stress and the ways stress impacts pain. 

I guess that they would have made suggestions like:-

Take control. Make sure you have a good support network; accept things that are out of your control; ensure you get down/me time and maybe use meditation; Etc etc 

I have done a few of the exercises that we started in session three so I’m hoping to at least stay on target. 

It would  have  been  nice to go and see my fellow spoonies, but it would have been impossible which is slightly ironic as it was probably stress that caused the flare up in the first place.  Anyway I’m looking forward to tomorrow.
